I brought Color Me Monday back!
I have implemented it over at my new company and I really enjoy doing it, so I hope you guys feel inspired by it too!
I am using our NEW SEPTEMBER RELEASE Monster Hugs stamp set this week for our CMM series. These monsters are most definitely my favorite thing from our fall line. As a child I loved monsters, and I raised 4 boys and monsters were always a part of our lives for years! I also thought I would use a couple of stencils to create some fun patterned paper!

The color palette is rich and very colorful this week!

The Copics I used for the card are:
Monster:
YR21, YG68, BG10, BG13, BG49, RV29, 0

For my layout this week I used a layered sketch so I could take the opportunity to use our stencils to make my own paper. I used our NEW SEPTEMBER RELEASE X Stencil, and our Honeycomb Stencil to create paper using this week's color theme. I took Ripe Persimmon Distress Ink refill and added it to white embossing paste so I could make that gorgeous orange-colored X's POP on the red paper. I used Brutus Monroe Oz ink on pale teal paper with our Honeycomb stencil to create the teal patterned paper.

I also wanted to use some sentiments from the Monster Hugs stamp set that were a little cheeky, and I thought I could use one of the more heartfelt sentiments from our NEW Storms do not Last sentiment set to pair with it.
This week why not try to complete a card using just a couple of the colors from this week's palette! I bet you will be surprised at how cute it can really look.
Don't forget to join us on Wednesday for Beth's FB LIVE where she uses the sketch and the color palette to create her own card!
