I love stamping and card making, and I have to admit I rarely get a chance to scrapbook anymore. I recently sat down and challenged myself to create an entire layout using nothing more than a couple of stamp sets, and some cardstock. The challenge was so much fun, and the results were fantastic. It had me really wanting to do it again! Using stamps for scrapbooking is a great way to step outside your normal comfort zone, and really invent creative ways to make ribbons, embellishments, titles, or even background paper just from stamps.
For my sample I created a layout of me and my granddaughter having fun in a chemistry lab.
Page one I used Stamping Bella Sage Loves Science stamp for an eye catching embellishment!
I also use There she Goes Cutie Pi Stamp set to create my background paper!
On page 2 I created similar embellishments, and used Copic Markers to color my stamps.
Take some time out for yourself today and challenge yourself to create a layout using only cardstock, and a favorite stamp set. I promise you won't be sorry you did, and you'll see just how much fun it can be!
