It's World Card Making Day! Card making is such a wonderful way to express your artistic ability and bless those around you with a special handmade gift! It's so great to celebrate this day with you and Stampendous! I'll be choosing one of my favorite cards I made this year. It's very simple and elegant, and packs a punch!
I created my card using the largest flower stamp from Stampendous Cling Lovely Garden . It's perfect for this technique and you can use any color scheme. I decided to go with a complimentary color scheme and use purple and yellow.
To create this card you'll need:

VersaMark Ink
Distress Ink Milled Lavender
Spectrum Noir Markers - HB1,LV1,LV2, Blender, LY1,LY3,TN6
Cardstock - white, lavender, purple
Paper Artistâ„¢ 6 Layered Labels Cutting Die
Rhinestones - Clear
Circle Cutting Die - 4 1/4"
Acrylic Block
Heat Gun
Zip Dry Adhesive
Foam Tape
Instructions:
Step 1. Start with 4 5/8" x 5 1/2" lavender card. Die cut 4 1/4" circle from white cardstock.
Step 2. Stamp large flower onto white circle using Milled Lavender Distress Ink. Color with Spectrum Noir Markers as video shows. Foam tape to card.
Step 3. Die cut Paper Artist 3 1/4" label from purple cardstock. Stamp sentiment with VersaMark ink, sprinkle with White Detailed Embossing powder and heat set. Foam tape to card, and add rhinestones.
I hope today you take some time for yourself, and take a moment to express your creativity. Have a great Card making Day and be sure to go to the Stampendous Blog to see our creative designers show off their favorites too!
