Welcome to Day 23 of 31 Days of Halloween! Today It's all about taking a cute stamp and making it a little creepy and gory! I used my favorite Stampendous Skull Ghoul Stamp! You can make an adorable card with it, or with a few simple tweaks a creepy one!
This card was so fast and easy to make, but packs a lot of punch for such a simple card!
You'll need:
Stampendous Tricky Words Perfectly Clear Stamps
Stampendous Detailed Embossing Powder - black, and white
Tsukineko Radiant Neon Ink - Electric Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple
Blending Tools
Copics - V04, R25,BV00,BV02, BV04,YR04,Y06
Heat Gun
Glossy Accents
Distress Ink - Barn Door
Craft Sheet (or wax paper)
Zip Dry Adhesive
Foam Dots
1. Cut a 4″ X 5-1/4″ white cardstock and stamp with Skull Stack using Versamark ink. Sprinkle with Detailed Black Embossing Powder. Heat set.
2. Use blending tool to rub in ink colors in rainbow order (Pink, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple). Swipe paper towel over image (horizontally so you don't smear colors together) a couple of times to remove ink from black embossing powder. Glue centered onto white cardstock and tear edges.
3. Rub Barn Door Distress Ink onto craft sheet several times. Squeeze Glossy Accents onto ink and stir to create fake blood. Drip around edges of white cardstock. Set aside to dry completely.
4. Stamp Skull Ghoul and color Skull and flowers as shown with Copics. Cut out and add fake blood. Let Dry.
5. Cut a 5" x 6" black card. Glue skull frame onto card at a slight angle. Cut a strip of black cardstock, stamp with Tricky Words "Ghoulish" sentiment using Versamark. Sprinkle with Detailed White Embossing Powder, and heat set. Glue to card as shown. Foam tape skull to bottom right corner.
Viola' ! A simple, sweet and spooky card perfect for
the person in your life that you wish to creep out!
