I'm so crazy about all the adorable animal stamps that Stampendous has! They are so super cute and are perfect for a layout, a gift tag, or my fav...a card! Today I'm showing you how to make a card using House-Mouse® Vet Visit Rubber Stamp. These little mice are so fun to color, and this image makes the perfect card for any animal lover!
To create your own card you'll need:
Stampendous House-Mouse® Vet Visit Rubber Stamp
Stampendous Beary Mice Perfectly Clear Stamps
Stampendous Scrolled Medallion
Stampendous Detail Embossing Powders -white
Items:
- Cardstock by Bazzill Basics® – red, pale green, green, white, brown
- Patterned paper – dark green polka dot
- Distress Ink- Black Soot
- Blending tools
- Copic markers RV14,R35,R37,R59,C1,C2,C3,C5,C7,0,E43,
- E71,E77,YR00,R20,Y11,YG03,YG06,G000,G00
- Rhinestones – clear, red
- Versamark Watermark Ink™
- Heat Gun
- Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®
- Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives Foam Tape
- Foam tape
Instructions:
1) Start with 5” x 5” brown card. Stamp “Sending Mice Wishes” sentiment in the top left corner using Versamark Watermark Ink™ and sprinkle with white embossing powder, and heat set. Stamp “Love” sentiment in the lower right corner using Versamark Watermark Ink™ and sprinkle with white embossing powder, and heat set.
2) Cut ½” x 4 ¼” strips from dark green polka dot patterned paper, and red, pale green, green cardstock. Cut a “V” from the dark green polka dot strip, and cut strips at an angle. Glue vertically in top right corner as shown. Stamp Scrolled medallion on bottom left corner, and top right corner using Memento™ Black Ink.
Cut 3” x 3” white cardstock paper, and stamp with Vet Visit using Memento™ Black Ink. Color with Copic markers as shown. Ink edges with Black Soot Distress Ink. Foam tape to card 3/8” from the right and 5/8” from the top. Cut 1 ¼” x ½” dark green polka dot patterned paper, and pale green cardstock. Glue to left of stamped image. Place rhinestones as shown.
