I can't wait to kick off the Spectrum Noir / Stampendous Blog Hop Week! Whoo Hooooo! Two of my favorite things! I've got three fun filled days of Spectrum Noir techniques to share with you and I'm so excited!
Let's kick off Day one with one of my favorite techniques: No Line coloring!
I'm going to create my card using the largest flower stamp from Stampendous Cling Lovely Garden . It's perfect for this technique and you can use any color scheme. I decided to go with a complimentary color scheme and use purple and yellow.
To create this card you'll need:
Stampendous Lovely Garden Cling Set
Stampendous Detail Embossing Powders - white
VersaMark Ink
Distress Ink Milled Lavender
Spectrum Noir Markers - HB1,LV1,LV2, Blender, LY1,LY3,TN6
Cardstock - white, lavender, purple
Paper Artistâ„¢ 6 Layered Labels Cutting Die
Rhinestones - Clear
Circle Cutting Die - 4 1/4"
Acrylic Block
Heat Gun
Zip Dry Adhesive
Foam Tape
Instructions:
Step 1. Start with 4 5/8" x 5 1/2" lavender card. Die cut 4 1/4" circle from white cardstock.
Step 2. Stamp large flower onto white circle using Milled Lavender Distress Ink. Color with Spectrum Noir Markers as video shows. Foam tape to card.
Step 3. Die cut Paper Artist 3 1/4" label from purple cardstock. Stamp sentiment with VersaMark ink, sprinkle with White Detailed Embossing powder and heat set. Foam tape to card, and add rhinestones.
