It's Day 2 of our Stampendous and Dreamweaver extravaganza! For today's project I'm going to make the same card with the same stencil, only with a different stamp and technique. This will show you some of the different things you can do with just one stencil!
(In case you missed it you can see day one HERE)
For this card I'll be using Sparky the adorable robot dog! I've included a video so you can see the technique I used to create this card.
Items you'll need:
Dreamweaver Gears Stencil
Dreamweaver Regular Paste 4 Oz
Stampendous Sparky Rubber Stamp
Stampendous Happy Greetings Perfectly Clear Stamps Set
Krylon Leafing Pens - Copper, Silver
Cardstock: grey, black, white
Rhinestones - clear
Memento™ Tuxedo Black Ink by Tsukineko®
Zip Dry™ Paper Glue by Beacon Adhesives
Foam tape
Instructions:
Step 1. Start with 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" black cardstock. Spread embossing paste over Gear Stencil onto black cardstock. Let Dry. Replace stencil, and use metallic paints to color. (See Video Below for details).
Step 2. Start with 5 5/8" x 4 1/2" grey card. Trim black cardstock and glue to grey card centered. Stamp Sparky onto white cardstock. Color with Krylon Leafing Pens. Cut out, and cut head off dog. Cut 5 5/8" x 3/4" grey cardstock strip. Stamp sentiment using Memento Ink. Glue down dog body, cardstock strip, and then foam tape dogs head as shown. Place rhinestones.
