It's blog hop time with Stampendous and Woodware! I can't wait to share with you what I made!
I used Stampendous Cling The Look Set to create this simple but vibrant card to give to a friend! I used the flower stamp to create a patterned background for my base, and don't forget the texture! I love creating texture by pressing stamps down into hot embossing powder. It leaves such a cool impression and adds lots of visual interest to a project without a lot of fuss!
To create this card you'll need:
Stampendous Cling The Look Set
Stampendous NK Studio Grunge Cling Rubber Stamps
Stampendous Deep Impressions Chunky Embossing Enamels - Silver
Cardstock : Black, Red, White
Patterned paper - Grey Dot
Copic Markers: Skin- E000,E00,E01,E02,R20 / Make Up- E33,E35,E37,R20,RR35,R37 / Eyes: YG03,YG06,G07 / Hair: E15,E18,E33,E35,E37,E79 / Rose- R20,R37,R46,RV14,RV35,0,BVo2 / Feather- C01,C02,C03,C05 / Leaves: G07,G29,YG67
Distress Ink - Barn Door
VersaMark Watermark Ink
Memento Ink - Black
May Arts Ribbon - Green
Rhinestones - Clear
Zip Dry Adhesive
Step 1. Start with 5 1/2" x 7" black card. Cut 5" x 6 1/2" grey dot paper, and tear one edge. Glue centered. Cut 4" x 6" red cardstock and stamp entire paper with Flower stamp using Barn Door Distress Ink to create background paper. Glue 3/8" from the left and 1/2" from the bottom. Stamp Sentiment stamp.
Step 2. Adhere ribbon to card as shown. Add VersaMark ink and sprinkle with Silver embossing powder. Heat set. Repeat twice to build up powder. (Have circle stamp ready to go inked with VersaMark ink) Stamp into HOT embossing powder. Leave stamp in powder for a moment to cool.
Step 3. Stamp The Look stamp and color with Copics as shown. Cut out and foam tape to card. Add Rhinestones.
