This week Stampendous has challenged us to GO BATTY! I chose to use these adorable stamps Bat Doodle, PenPattern Bat, and this very spooky Damask Bat background stamp! I love how these bats are both cute and creepy!
Supplies needed:
Orange patterned paper
Lime green, purple, and magenta card stock
Black glitter paper
Black and orange ribbon
Circle Cutting Dies
Stampendous Tricky Words Sentiment Stamp
Memento black ink
Acrylic Block
Foam tape
Zip Dry
1. Mat 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" black glitter square onto lime green cardstock leaving 1/4" border. Glue centered onto 6" x 6" orange patterned card. Stamp Damask Bat onto 2 1/4" x 4 3/4" magents cardstock, and then mat onto purple cardstock leaving 1/4" border. Glue to card front as shown. Glue ribbon 1 1/4 " from the bottom.
2. Cut 3 1/4 x 4" orange patterned paper. Cut 3" x 3 3/4" black glitter paper, and use 3" circle cutting die to cut a portion away as shown. Glue to orange patterned paper. Cut 2 3/4" circle from purple cardstock, and 2 1/2" circle from magenta cardstock. Stamp bat onto magenta cardstock. Glue to card front as shown.
3. Stamp bats onto lime green cardstock. Cut out and foam tape to card. Stamp bat eyes onto orange cardstock, cut out and glue onto lime green bats. Stamp "Fright Night" onto white cardstock. Cut out and foam tape to card front as shown.
