This weeks color inspiration has lots of cool tones! As soon as I saw it I knew I wanted to do a different take on a mermaid card. I created a purple/pink water colored background for my Saturated Canary stamp. She really pops off the card with her red hair against all those cool tones! I couldn't forget to throw in some chartreuse, so I added sheer glitter ribbon for seaweed to complete my fantasy card!
For my mermaid I used Spectrum Noir Markers. Skin: FS2, FS3, TN2 / Hair TN2, TN4, TN5, TN6 / Tail: LV1, LV2, PP4, PP5.
*PLEASE NOTE*
You'll notice the title didn't stamp quite well, but that's okay! Don't throw away your cards just because they have an imperfection or two! Our mistakes are part of what make us unique! I always say . . . .
"There are no mistakes, only embellishment opportunities!"
So run with those mistakes because they can take you somewhere creatively you didn't expect to go!
Leave a comment by Tuesday at midnight, and Wednesday morning I will draw a random name to win this adorable stamp set Garden of Love!

I just CANNOT get enough of that color scheme!! It is truly gorgeous!! Thank you for pointing out the imperfection of the sentiment. I often find myself frustrated because am a perfection, often to a fault. So it's good to be reminded to not let mistakes get in the way. Thank you for sharing this stunning card!
(And Thank you for the chance to win such an adorable stamp!!♡♡)

Amy, I got my package yesterday! I was so excited to get my stamp- thank you so much!! But when I opened the envelope to find that stunning card inside, it brought tears to my eyes! That was SOOO sweet! It has been such a long, at times difficult, week and you doing that was my ray of sunshine. I just can't express how thoughtful that was and how much I love it!! (I am actually more excited about the card than the stamp. LOL!) Thank you! Thank you! I am actually going to frame it and put it up in my new Studio!! Thank you for making my whole month!! ♡♡♡♡
