Recently I had the opportunity to put together a sweet sixteen party for a sweet girl in my church. I only had 5 days to do it though! I think it turned out great, and the girls had a blast! we put a small canopy that was borrowed inside the living room and decorated it like a tent. The girls did Henna, and Bollywood make up by me. Then Affordable Excellence Photography came over and did professional pictures for the girls. Everything we used came from the dollar store, or donations from friends. The cost of the whole party was $70.00!
I bought the charger plate for .99 at walmart, and the plastic elephant at the dollar store. Then I spray painted the elephant gold. We made the small candle holders out of mason jars, glass paint, and gold puffy paint.
We scattered rose petals all over the floor, pillows, tables, buffet and a pathway to enter the party.
BollyWood make up on the birthday girl.
